Hello and welcome to our club website. For non-club members we hope that this site will give you a taster of who we are and the sort of club we are.
Crouch End Dive Club is part of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC) and as such is a club and not a commercial venture (such as PADI). Anything and everything our club wishes to do comes from the members, which includes all finances raised by the club fees. As with all clubs like ours we need to ensure that we comply with the correct procedures of BSAC, and have a good time diving.
The club is quite small at present but is a good mix of people who like doing a variety of diving (wrecks, reefs, drifts etc.). Whilst everyone enjoys the luxury of diving abroad we are very much a UK diving club. Our diving tends to be relaxed and enjoyable rather than “pushing the envelope” for the sake of it. The trips are social as well as diving events.
At present because of the size of the club we are not taking in unqualified divers because of the limited number of Instructors we have with the available time to train. However if you are already qualified as a diver, even with other organisations, you would be most welcome to join. Our members live over a wide section of north London so please contact us if you feel that you would like to know more.
